Hey! I’m Nadine. I’m an artist, writer, and facilitator based in Brooklyn. I teach on creative attention, curate and host a monthly literary reading series, and work as the publicity director at Deep Vellum, a nonprofit independent book publisher. I also create fiber art, write across genres, host a podcast, write a newsletter, and occasionally lead weekend retreats. I’m too busy for my own good!

At Fordham, I studied creative writing and theology, helped found and grow the only feminist organization on campus as an executive board member for four years, and served as a spiritual retreat leader through campus ministry. I’ve formerly worked with Feminist Press, Kundiman, and The Resort writer’s space, and I managed publicity and audio for LIC Reading Series monthly events (RIP!). For several years, I worked as a reading specialist supporting disabled and under-resourced children and teens as they developed their literacy skills. I am a member of the Young Adult Advisory Committee at The Center at Mariandale, where I lead retreats a few times a year.
